About Jungle Junction

A family-owned forest property built with one belief — that the best way to love a place is to understand it. Jungle Junction was founded not just as a place to stay, but as a starting point for genuine wildlife encounters, forest education and sustainable travel near Jim Corbett.

Our Story

Built for People Who Love Wild Places

Jungle Junction was established in Garjiya, Ladwachaur — a village at the edge of the Jim Corbett landscape where the Kosi River still runs clean and a walk behind the property at dawn is as likely to produce a leopard pugmark as it is a cup of chai.

We started with a handful of rooms and a belief that guests who come to Corbett deserve more than a bed — they deserve access to the knowledge, expertise and planning that turns a safari into something they'll carry for life. Over the years we've built a team of naturalists, guides and wildlife educators who live and breathe the Corbett ecosystem.

Today, Jungle Junction hosts solo travellers, families, photographers, school groups, corporate teams and destination weddings — all sharing the same forest, the same bonfire circle and the same early-morning anticipation before a safari departs.

Our Values

What We Believe In

🌿

Conservation First

A percentage of every booking goes to local wildlife conservation and forest department anti-poaching initiatives in the Corbett buffer zone. We do not profit from wildlife at the expense of wildlife.

👨‍👩‍👧

Community Employment

95% of our team are from the villages surrounding the property — Garjiya, Ladwachaur and the Kosi river communities. The people who know this forest best are the ones who work here.

📚

Wildlife Education

Every guest leaves knowing more about the ecosystem they visited than when they arrived. Our naturalists treat every conversation as an education opportunity — at the bonfire, on the drive, over breakfast.

♻️

Low-Impact Operations

Solar water heating, composting, plastic-free property, locally sourced food and reduced single-use packaging. We hold ourselves to environmental standards the hotel industry rarely attempts.

Come and Stay in the Forest

A Jungle Junction visit is more than accommodation — it's a wildlife education, an adventure and a proper rest from everything else.
